CleanRound is a client, visit and payment-record app for cleaning businesses. It is operated by KRDMCK LTD ("we", "us"). Contact us about this notice or your information at hello@krdmck.com.
Information we handle
When you create an account, we handle your email address, authentication information and account identifier. When you use CleanRound, we store the client details and business records you enter, which may include names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, cleaning schedules, visit notes, charges and payment records. We also handle technical information needed to operate and secure the app, such as service logs and error information. Settings such as your reminder wording and payment details may be stored on your device.
If you subscribe, Apple or Google handles your payment. We receive subscription status and purchase identifiers through RevenueCat so the app can provide paid features. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Why we use it
We use account and app data to provide CleanRound, keep records in sync, authenticate users, handle support requests and protect the service. We use purchase status to provide subscription access, and RevenueCat provides subscription analytics to help us understand subscription performance. Our lawful bases for account and subscription processing are performance of our contract with you and, where applicable, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service. We use support messages to respond to your request. Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests are service reliability, security and abuse prevention.
Your clients' information
You decide what information about your cleaning clients to enter and why. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to use it and for giving your clients any privacy information they need. We process those records to provide the service to you. We do not use your client list to market to your clients.
Who receives information
Service providers may process information needed for their role: Newly for app hosting and backend services; RevenueCat for subscription status and subscription analytics; Apple or Google for app distribution and purchases; Brevo for transactional password-reset emails; and Microsoft 365 for support and service correspondence. We may disclose information where required by law. We do not sell your client records.
Where information is processed
Our providers may process information in the UK, EEA and other countries, depending on the service and configuration. For restricted transfers we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and the UK international data transfer addendum where applicable. Contact us for details of safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep it
We keep account and app records while your account is active. If you ask to delete your account, we delete or de-identify the associated app records unless we need to retain information to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Deleted information may remain in service backups until those backups rotate; Newly states that its backup retention window can be up to 90 days. Operational logs are normally retained for up to 90 days, unless needed longer for security or legal reasons. Purchase and tax records may be retained for the periods required by the stores, service providers and applicable law. Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal information, or object to some uses. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Contact us first if you would like us to resolve a concern.
Website analytics and campaign links
On the CleanRound website, optional Google Analytics measures page visits and clicks on the Apple and Google download buttons only after you choose “Allow analytics”. It receives technical browser information, a browser identifier and the source, campaign and post labels in our links. We do not send your CleanRound account, cleaning-client records, email address or payment details to website analytics. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled. We use consent for this optional measurement; you can change your choice through “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Your preference is stored on this device for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 30 days.
Campaign labels also travel in our website and app-store links without using cookies. Apple and Google may use them to report downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies and reporting thresholds. A click on a download button is not a confirmed download or purchase. Google processes website analytics data under its privacy policy. Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months, without resetting it on new activity. Aggregate reports may be retained longer. This website measurement is separate from subscription analytics in the app.
Optional marketing measurement in the Android app
Marketing measurement is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, CleanRound reads recognised campaign labels from Google Play's install referrer and sends those labels to RevenueCat, linked to your subscription account identifier. Labels identify the source, medium, campaign and promotional post, helping us understand which campaigns lead to subscriptions. We rely on your consent for this optional measurement. The tracking update does not use an advertising identifier or device fingerprint, and does not send your cleaning-client records or the payment records you enter to marketing measurement.
You can turn marketing measurement off in Settings at any time without losing app features. This stops further campaign measurement and requests removal of the campaign attributes attached to your subscription account. Removal needs a successful connection to the service; switching it off does not erase historical aggregate reports or purchase records needed to manage your subscription. Contact us using the address above if you want to request access to or deletion of identifiable measurement data. The Android setting is separate from website analytics preferences.
